An abundant grape harvest for 2019

The 2019 grape harvest at the Marchese Luca Spinola estate began in mid-September: thanks to the summer temperatures and stable weather at the end of the season, we were able to wait for just the right time to start picking instead of having to bring the harvest forward to the beginning of the month as has happened in the last few years.

For the organic Gavi of our three labels Marchese col Fondo, Gavi DOCG Massimiliano and Gavi DOCG Carlo, 2019 looks set to be a rich and abundant vintage with a balanced alcohol content as the sugar content and degree of acidity reach a perfect equilibrium.
